DESCRIPTION:Media personalities Joanne Joseph (South Africa) and Eusebius McKaizer (South Africa) will co-present a one hour programme in two parts.\n \nJoanne Joseph will present “South African Literature: Processing the Past, Writing the Future“, which pertains to attempts to comprehend our colonised past and suggest throughways arising out of literature and writing to achieve catharsis. The programme will feature Patric Mellet on “The Lie of 1652“, award-winning Dutch poet and playwright Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft (Netherlands – South Africa) on his poetry on racism and xenophobia, and Nkanyezi Tshabalala (South Africa) from Jonathan Ball Publishers, who are excavating hidden South African histories and turning them into commercial books.\nEusebius McKaiser will interview futurist Kofi Kwakwa (Ghana) and literature buff, diversity and mediation expert Lovelyn Nwadeyi (Country)  about what kind of writing needs to come out of South Africa in the coming years to address gaps in personal and cultural histories, address inter-generational trauma and unite a divided country through literature.\nWatch on Facebook ( https://web.facebook.com/Artfluencefest )\nWatch on YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/user/CentreCreativeArts )\n
