Xola Mziwakhe is Writer, Director, Actor, and Art Facilitator and reflects upon himself as creator, developer, and storyteller. His work has been staged in various prominent theatres across the country namely Durban Playhouse, Baxter, Stable theatre, Guild theatre and many more. His career start in his early childhood by writing, performing, and directing school plays for competitions. His plays were recognized by receiving awards. He opened his theatre group (ISA-PROJECT) in 2014 when he was doing grade 10 for his community youth to be able to practice and partake on art activities even after school. Xola enrols for professional training at KCAP (Actors Incubation Mentorship Program) where later he was selected to be a facilitator and coordinator of KCAP’ Actors Incubation Mentorship Program from 2019 to 2021.
2022 he returns home to be a Head of Drama at Sonwa Sakuba Institute of Performing Art. In East London.. Xola is a founder and Artistic director of DA Creative Space where he drives his motor “Creativity Activate Humanity”
