Carole U. Karemera is a Rwandan theater, music and cinema artist, co-founder and Executive Director of the Ishyo Arts Centre, one of the most dynamic arts organisation in Rwanda involved in capacity building, advocacy, creation and production. Carole is also an arts manager, culture policies expert and the artistic director/co-producer of four festivals KINA (International festival dedicated to young audience), Kuya Kwetu (residencies and experimental arts), Home Sweet Home (creation of original plays to perform in people’s homes) and Rwanda International Literature Festival.
