Tyson Meya is a Congolese Artist, Manager and cultural entrepreneur based in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He received several certifications in management, project management and Leadership, and is a member of YALI (Young African Leaders)
President of the CAFE MUSIC SMILE NGO organization which he founded in 2015, through this organization, it sets up several artistic, educational, and cultural activities, training, workshops, and conferences, to facilitate access to culture and education for all, for the benefit of artists, young people and children in difficult situations (children of the street, and girls out of school).
He is the coordinator of the IYOFUND crowdfunding platform, which is a support and financing platform for the development and growth of the cultural and creative industries in the DRC.
Artistic director of the Kinshasa Jazz Festival since 2018, he is at the same time organiser of the Culture and Development Festival (IYOAFRICA FESTIVAL) Which takes place in October in Kinshasa,
Alumni of the FESTIVAL Academy, Tyson Meya collaborates with several artists and cultural organisations in Central Africa and internationally on several cooperation and cultural networking projects.
